𝐌𝐚𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐝: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲

On Sunday, 6th September 2026, Micklefield Mosque hosted its annual Mawlid gathering in honour of the beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The community came together for an evening of Qur’ānic recitation, praise of the Prophet ﷺ, and reflections on the sīrah, drawing out meaningful lessons for British Muslim society.

We were honoured to welcome Mawlānā Gul Muhammad al-Azhari, who delivered a lecture entitled, “Prophetic Lessons for a Multicultural Society.” Drawing from the sīrah of the Prophet ﷺ, the speaker explored timely themes including coexistence, pluralism, and loving and serving the land we call home.

The evening was further enriched by a beautiful nashīd recital by Love’s Pilgrim.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our honoured guest speaker and the munshids for their presence, and to everyone who attended and supported the gathering.

Alhamdulillah we had a productive afternoon with the youth, beginning with Dhuhr prayer in Jamaat, followed by an interactive Islamic talk with Imam Shoaib Nawaz and Muhammad Abbas Mahmood. This was followed by a football tournament and some well-deserved pizza! 🍕

A big thank you to everyone involved in making the afternoon a success, and especially to those who kindly sponsored the refreshments. May Allah accept our efforts.

Today, we had the pleasure of honouring the achievements of our Madrasah students by arranging an End of Year Awards Ceremony and Funday. It was a wonderful occasion filled with joy, celebration, and recognition of the hard work and dedication shown by our children throughout the academic year.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the parents who kindly brought snacks for their children and contributed to making the day extra special.

Admissions for Madrasah children are now open for the next academic year. For enrolment and further information, please contact Imam Shoaib or a member of the Committee.

May Allah reward everyone who helped make this day a memorable success.
