This Sunday Chris our Children’s and Families Pastor will be speaking at both our 9am Communion service and 11 am All Age ‘Ice Cream Sunday Special’ service.
He will be focusing on Matthew 14:22-33 and how Jesus encouraged Peter to be bold and step out of the boat.
Similarly, there are times in each of our lives when we will need the courage to take that step. Whenever that is and however big the step, whether we are flying high or feeling completely in the depths, when we include Jesus in the equation, He will help us find the courage we need to take that step.

This week is Charlie's first Sunday with us, she will be preaching on the gospel reading : Matthew 15:21-28
Jesus’ meeting with the Canaanite women who begs for healing for her daughter, and Jesus’ strange response to her. How do we reconcile this with Jesus’ message of love and salvation being available to everyone?

This Sunday at our Sunday services Helen will be focusing on Paul's concern in Romans 10:5-15 - the fact that so many of his fellow Jews are missing the good news of Jesus, even though God's invitation is open to everyone. Paul reminds us that people can only respond to that good news if someone is willing to share it. This Sunday we celebrate the "beautiful feet" of those who are prepared to share that news. God delights in ordinary people who are willing to go, speak, invite, and carry the good news wherever their daily lives take them. Where will God take you next week?

Please join us tomorrow for our 9am service and 11am All Age Service. Chris will be speaking at both and will be exploring the miracle where Jesus fed over 5000 people. Looking at the fact that we all may feel at times we have little to offer. But God can use our gifts, talents, time and resources in amazing ways.Everyone, regardless of age, has something to contribute.

We may even have a visit from some special little friends!!!

In our gospel reading this Sunday, David will be looking at how Jesus uses parables, such as the mustard seed and the hidden treasure, to describe the Kingdom of Heaven, but what is it, and where and when will it come? Indeed, what treasure can we find as we look at his words?"

This Sunday Helen is speaking on the Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds – Matthew 13:24-30 & 36-43. With a baptism during the 11am service. We remember it marks the beginning of a lifelong journey with Christ, reminding us that we are welcomed into God's family through God's grace, love and forgiveness rather than our own perfection.
The parable teaches that God is patient in a world where good and evil exist side by side. It reminds us that we are not called to judge others or decide who belongs in God's kingdom, but to trust God's wisdom, being ready to share the good news of Jesus, and allow him to continue his transforming work in each one of us.

Tomorrow at our 9 am service Christopher will be speaking and at our 11am service Adrian will be preaching on the gospel Matthew 13:1-13 As we await the arrival of a new vicar, this parable does not question the Sower - rather ask what kind of soil are we?

We also have JC Club for all primary aged children and Rooted@Church for any youth who would like to join us.

This Sunday Chris Coyston our Children’s and Families Pastor will be speaking at both our 9am service and 11am All age service.
Our reading will be Matthew 11:25-30, where Jesus says ‘come to me all who are carrying heavy burdens and I will give rest for your soul’.
Chris will be focusing on the theme of rest, with us now in July and the holiday season fast approaching for many it brings a time to rest/play/restore physically but more importantly Jesus wants to restore us spiritually. We hope you can join us!
