Just as the house in Bethany was filled with the fragrance of perfume.
May this church be filled with the fragrance of Christ’s love.
May our lives be poured out in gratitude and action.

As we walk from this table toward the cross,

Love that is poured out is never wasted.

Do join us for our tea party this Saturday, run by our Local Preachers and Leaders of Worship. They are a vital part of the life of a Methodist Church, sharing Sunday worship with our Minister and ensuring we can offer an open, welcoming church each week. Do please support them, they are also great bakers and tea makers!!

A reminder that we have a Circuit Service at 7pm this evening at St John’s in Settle to celebrate Wendy Holt reaching the milestone of 40 years as a local preacher. Her ministry has spoken to us all, I’m sure! Everyone very welcome to join with this happy evening!!

I just wanted to share details of our Puppet Ministry training day on Saturday 7th September at Ingleton Methodist Church.

The day is run by One Way UK, who, along with training, are also able to provide Puppets, scripts, Christian parody songs and music, stages, props and accessories! The possibilities are only limited by our belief and our imagination!

Please do share this day, it is open to everyone who might be interested. There s no cost, as the day is being supported by the Circuit Mission Fund in order to equip and support our churches. It would be a dream to think that we might have church groups, or even a circuit group, able to take the puppets beyond the church walls and to share the good news in schools or care homes, at local fetes, festivals and galas, as well as in our churches themselves. No acting or singing ability is necessary, just a willingness to have a go!

The training day will commence at 10am and run through until approx 3:30pm - please bring your own lunch.
