Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Hospitality/Housekeeper role located in Riding Mill. The role involves performing daily housekeeping tasks, including but not exhaustive, laundry management, cleaning guest rooms, and maintaining shared spaces to a high standard, being on duty in shift patterns across days, evenings and weekends. There will be certain times where you will be on call over night to deal with any out of hours guest queries. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities such as organizing supplies, fostering a friendly and welcoming environment for guests, and supporting their needs during their stay. The candidate will also assist in training new team members to maintain quality service standards.
Qualifications
Housekeeping skills, including experience with Laundry and maintaining cleanliness
Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities to interact professionally and warmly with guests
Proven Organization Skills for managing tasks efficiently and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Capacity to participate in offering Training to support new team members
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in hospitality or a similar environment is a plus
Food safety qualification- desirable
Health and safety trained - desirable
Fire saftey training completed - desirable
