A little teaser ahead of Nativity Exhibition 2026. We have been gifted 3 containers of sets from a huge collection that was once owned by a friend, she was indeed the inspiration for the annual exhibition!

Although many people think Christmas is over on 26th December the church continues to celebrate as we move into the season of Epiphany. We will miss the candles when they go away until next Advent.

Thank you for the warm generosity of spirit of so many in coming to visit our amazing Nativity Exhibition!

We have been bowled over by the response 🙃

It was great to see people peering into nooks, standing on tiptoe to look at high-up windowsills and to see smiles at the humour and love of the makers’ hands reflected in these many crib scenes from all around the world. They really were placed on every available flat surface in our church!

A big shout out to the catering team who excelled themselves! And to the crafters who baked and shaped imaginative items to decorate, to eat, to wear and to share.

It has been a great way to start advent: our time of waiting and preparing for Christmas when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. For us, this is a time of listening, and holding on to hope despite life’s difficulties.

Our little church meets on Sundays at 11am. You are welcome to join us - there is always a warm welcome (and usually a cup of tea and a slice of cake afterwards). We’d love to see you again ❤️
