A leaving Service for Deacon Linda Watkin will be held on Tuesday 28th at 7:15pm at Chester-le-Street Methodist Church.

The next New Song Cafe at Lumley Methodist Church is this coming Sunday the 2nd August at 6pm. This is a very relaxed, cafe style worship, filled with song, laughter, worship and even a little dancing.

As we start a new week, we think of those who feel broken, either through grief, loneliness, illness and other pain that is unseen.

God sees every single one of them and holds them in his hands.

Thank you to everyone who attended this special service to remember the brave men who lost their lives in the Eppleton Pit disaster.

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Eppleton Colliery pit disaster. A night when hard working men went to work as normal, but never returned home.
All are welcome at the service of remembrance, this Sunday the 5th of July at 10.30am. Please see the attached notice for further details.
