Putson Baptist YPF Reunion Many young people in the late 1960s and 1970s found their time at Putson Baptist Church truly formative. Now, fifty years on, we are renewing our friendships.

The first reunion was held on Sunday 20th October 2019.

Just a reminder that this Sunday, 26 October, will see the final service of Barton Christian Fellowship. We give thanks to God for all that he has achieved through his people over the years.

I spent a very pleasant morning with David Rawson. Much of our time was spent discussing the implications of the closure of Barton CF. He would love to have memories and reflections, greetings, etc, to share at the thanksgiving service. If you have anything to share please feel free to email me on [email protected]

You may already have heard that, after much prayer and discussion, the fellowship at Barton Hall has taken the decision that they will cease to be “the occupying fellowship” (in the words of David Rawson). The final service will be on 26th October. There will be a Thanksgiving Service on Saturday 11th October at 4pm. This will be an opportunity to praise God for all the years of work, witness and worship at Barton Hall. It has been my privilege to minister there on a monthly basis for some years now, and the brothers and sisters there have become dear friends. Please support them in prayer at this painful time and try to get to the Thanksgiving Service if you can.

The funeral arrangements for Jeanette are Friday 24th May, 2pm at Christchurch Gorsley (Anglican). The burial will also be at Christchurch. Refreshments and fellowship to follow will be round the corner in Gorsley Village Hall.

Last night Jeanette (Turner) passed away with family around her. This brings to an end a very troubled few months and Jeanette was very ready to be with her Lord. Please pray for Pippa, Simon, Rosie and their families as the funeral arrangements are made the details of which I will let you know in due course. David

Just to let everyone know that Esther Florence's funeral arrangements are as follows.

Service is on 26th May, 2pm at Bullinghope Church - Rev Ann and I will be sharing the service. Burial after at the church. Refreshments after at Putson.

All welcome if able to attend.
