What a night! As birthdays go, it was one to remember.
Stunning flower displays; sumptuous cakes; balloons; a wonderful service and a quirky sketch that took us back a century and a half.
That’s how Hepworth Mothers’ Union celebrated the 150th anniversary of the start of the Mothers’ Union movement.
The service ended with our members, visitors and friends singing Happy Birthday.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined in the celebrations.

We are delighted to say that the Revd Sarah Cawdell is now officially vicar of Hepworth Church. She will not start leading services until September; meanwhile we continue having retired clergy leading the worship and our very own D.I.Y. service
