The Queens Square, in the early 1950s as a village hall for letting. This was the first to be built to
meet the social needs of the new tenants of the Adeyfield Development Corporation Estate who
were moving into the area for employment on the expanding industrial estate. St Barnabas
Church was built to meet the spiritual needs of the people. We are a registered charity with the number 1133788

As many return to school this week, join us in a prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of education and the opportunity to begin a new school year. We ask your blessing upon all students, teachers, and school staff as they return to their classrooms.

Grant our children curiosity to learn, courage to face new challenges, and kindness to share with their peers. Give teachers wisdom, patience, and energy to inspire and guide those in their care. May our schools be places of safety, discovery, and joy, where every person is valued as a child of God.

We pray that your Holy Spirit walks with them through every day, guiding their steps and filling their hearts with peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
