Saint Benedict's Church, Bennetts End SERVICES IN CHURCH

Thank you so much for visiting a church near you website. More details about the journey ahead will be shared here over the coming months.

On the 19th October we celebrated the life of Saint Benedicts church of its 67 year serving in the community of Bennetts End. Over the next six months, we're entering an exciting season of pause and preparation. Our regular Sunday services and activities will take a temporary break while the church building undergoes some much-needed work and renewal. We're looking ahead with anticipation to Easte

r 2026, when a new church community will be launched in the Saint Benedict's church building right here in Bennetts End. This new expression of church is going to be part of the Diocese of St Albans, planted in partnership with Soul Survivor Watford (a Church of England church in Watford that values intimate worship, relevant evangelism, and committed community). Revd David Jones has been appointed as Vicar, working alongside a team from Soul Survivor to help bring this vision to life. We can't wait to tell you more! Whether you've been to church for years, haven't been for a while, or have never been before, we'd love to welcome you and your family to Saint Benedict's Church in Bennetts End, a church for everyone: young, old and in between. Each Sunday afternoon we get together to sing some worship songs, hear from the Bible, pray for our community and enjoy spending time together. It's relaxed, friendly and informal, and there are kids' groups for children during the Bible talk, so families can feel right at home too. Afterwards, stay for some refreshments and a chat.

On the first Sunday of each month, we have All2gether, our everyone-together service where the whole family can worship and take part together

You'll find us on Peascroft Road, opposite the Bennetts End shops

Over the summer we'll be running a five-week series called "Heroes of the Faith." Each week we'll be looking at a different hero of the Bible, and our time together will be a little shorter than usual.

These will be All2gether services, as our children's teams take a well-earned break over the summer. Three of the five Sundays will follow this format: a time of worship, an interactive talk, café and craft in the middle of the service, and a time of prayer together to finish. The other two Sundays will be even more interactive, with more time to hang out together, with worship and followed by two different challenges to get stuck into.

See you all at 4pm today for Fun, connect and fulfilment. All are so welcome!!
