Through the Friends of Meneage Chapel and other supporters, community activities continue to be offered at these premises, which remains the property of the Lizard and Mounts Bay Circuit of the Methodist Church. The Chapel Hall is available to hire for suitable activities compliant with the covenants affecting the site; please enquire here.

Preparing for Easter 2026 - A Journey Through the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a troubled world, are you wondering about faith and the foundations we build our lives upon? Are you unfamiliar with the Bible and would like to find your way into its promises, challenges and hopes for your future? Following on from our Advent series before Christmas 2025, Meneage Bible Study Fellowship welcomes you to participate in ‘A Journey Through the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ’. In the season of Lent, over a period of eight weeks commencing 18 February 2026, we will consider 1. Jesus in the Wilderness, 2. Jesus Among the Crowds, 3. Jesus in Prayer, 4. Jesus Among Friends, 5. Jesus Among Enemies, 6. Jesus in the City, 7. Jesus on the Cross, and 8. Jesus and Heaven.

Can’t do all eight? No matter, every week will be filled with meaning - even life-changing revelation! - and an optional book with daily readings will keep you in touch with any sessions you can’t get to.

We'd be pleased to have your company. Add colour and deep meaning to your understanding of the Easter Story - so much more than bunnies and chocolate eggs!

⛪ Manaccan Methodist Chapel Hall has been a hive of activity lately! From Tiny Tots 👶 and Bit & Bobbins 🧵 to Pilates 🧘‍♀️, The Light Lunch 🍲, and Bible Study Fellowship 📖, there’s always something happening. Thank you to everyone who supports these groups — and if you haven’t joined in yet, you’re warmly welcome to come along 😊.

🎄 Advent 2025 – Bible Study Fellowship Update

This year we’re running ‘A is for Advent’, a five-part Bible study exploring the birth of Jesus Christ through the eyes of Christians in the Middle East 🌍. Even if you know the Nativity story well, you’ll see it in a new and meaningful light.

Starts Wednesday 19 November, 7.30 pm – beginning with a shared evening meal 🍽️ and the first session: 1. “From Ancient Times.” considers that the story is much older than 2000 years! Each week stands alone, so come to as many as you can.

For the four sessions thereafter there’s no food, but we will share in watching the traditional Nativity story together and consider:

2. ‘The Light Shines’
3. ‘Just as He Promised’
4. ‘The God of Peace’
5. ‘From That Time On’
