Stay & Play + Summer Session TOMORROW!

A reminder that our second special Stay & Play Summer Session is happening tomorrow, 10:30am–12noon.

We’ll have all the usual Stay & Play fun, games, play spaces and craft — but, like last week, we’re opening it up for toddlers AND primary-aged children, so siblings can come along and enjoy it together.

Tomorrow’s theme is “Build Your House on the Rock”, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and explore the story together.

And of course, there’ll be more fantastic cakes from Whisked Bakery! Everything is donation only, so come along, grab a cuppa and enjoy a morning of fun and community.

This Sunday we continue our series: "Abiding in Christ" 🌿

This week we're exploring John 15:9–17, as Jesus calls us to abide in his love and shows us what it means to love one another.

And this Sunday is a little different! It's one of our "All Together" services, where all ages will be invited to explore the message together. Rather than simply sitting and listening, there will be a variety of different spaces and activities to help us engage with God's Word in different ways. There will be something for everyone, from children and young people to adults.

☀️ Stay & Play Summer Sessions are back! ☀️

Looking for something to do with the children during the summer holidays?

Join us on Wednesday 19th & Wednesday 26th August (10:30-12) for two special Stay & Play Summer Sessions at Helston Light & Life Church!

We've got all the things you love about our weekly Stay & Play, with even more space and activities for the holidays. As we're meeting on a Wednesday, we'll be making use of our larger hall, so there's room for children up to age 11 to explore, play and create together.

🏗️ This year's theme is Building!
There will be:
🧸 A toddler play zone with soft play and sensory activities
🎲 A primary-aged play zone with games and activities
🎨 Age-appropriate building-themed crafts and creative workshops
☕ Tea, coffee and cold drinks
🧁 Cakes and fresh fruit available throughout the morning

These sessions are open to families with toddlers and primary-aged children, so siblings are very welcome to come along together.

Everything is available on a donation-only basis, with no set snack time...simply pop to the café whenever suits your family.

Whether you're a regular at Stay & Play or it's your first visit, we'd love to welcome you for a relaxed morning of fun and creativity this summer!

While pruning may seem like a painful process, it's how a loving gardener helps a plant become healthier and more fruitful. Together, we'll consider how God works in our lives to shape us, strengthen us, and help us grow into all he has created us to be.
