"Jesus, as he withdraws this concession to divorce, he is forcing us to confront our sin. He is forcing us to acknowledge just how hard our hearts are.

Not because he wants to guilt trip us into obedience.

But because only in confronting how hard our hearts are, are we able to sense how great our need for Jesus is; that we might turn to him for forgiveness and help!"
