*A MESSAGE FROM ANTONY*
Hi all! As this was announced in church today, I wanted to put a message up to inform everyone who was unable to attend.
As many of you will be aware, there is currently work taking place to attain funding to continue the Youth and Families Work through Haywards Heath Methodist Church. This is work that I have had the privilege to build up and run for the past 6 years and so am very appreciative of the work which is going into allowing this to continue.
However, after much consideration and conversation, it is with a heavy heart that I share this work will continue without me as I will be leaving my role of Youth and Families Worker for HHMC.
I have had a fantastic 6 years in my role at HHMC and I look forward to watching the work continue and develop into the future with someone else at the helm. But for me, now is the time to move on to something new and so I will be stepping down from my role at the start of June.
I will continue to support Rev Will, and all involved in the transition over this time, and I am sure whoever is brought in will bring a fresh and enthusiastic outlook on the work, and I look forward to seeing HHMC thrive even further than we already have.
I will continue to be a part of the HHMC community, and so you will see me around from time to time, I won’t just disappear entirely!
A new chapter is now due to begin for me, but I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who has supported me and the Youth & Families work in HHMC these past 6 years.
It has been a fantastic journey, one of which has been a privilege to serve alongside you all, and I will cherish the memories I have made throughout this work. I couldn’t have done it without the support around me.
Thank you all,
Antony.
