On Tuesday's Tea and Toast, we celebrated Di's birthday. Here she lights the single candle on her cake which she then blows it out. Only one candle needed for our number one person.

Sunday's Messy Church was well attended. The theme was the Road to Emmaus, with children making masks, hearts and bread; all to fit in with the scripture, and a short play. Followed by a lively song, prayers and food. A thank you to all the helpers who made this possible.

Calling all St Erth Resident Senior Citizens. Make a note of the date and ensure that your name is registered if you wish to attend this free event. Numbers will be limited to the maximum that the hall is permitted to hold.

The date set for Carol's Emporium and Bazaar is Saturday 18th July at 2.00pm. Now is the time to start sorting out all those items to sell and to book a stall.

Thursday saw our first Alpha Course meeting of the current season. It was pleasing to see some new faces, and with helpers, 12 people all enjoyed the evening and the meal.

If there is enough local public support, then there will be a 'Sale of the Century' on a nice warm summer's afternoon yet to be decided. Make it the biggest that St Erth has ever seen - with the possibility of expanding into the car park.

Another batch of old mobile phones sent off to a charity. If you have any that you no longer need then we can send them to a UK children's charity, where they can be given to children without a phone to make an emergency call to their parents etc. If the phone is beyond use or repair, then the valuable parts are removed and sold. All phone are 'wiped clean' and reset to factory settings. Collection point - Farmers Market on a Saturday.
