Day 11 - Pentecost - The Spirit of Power ✨

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would come afresh, filling us with God’s love and drawing our Five closer to Him.

Almighty God,
Your ascended Son has sent us into the world to preach the good news of Your kingdom: inspire us with Your Spirit and fill our hearts with the fire of Your love, that all who hear Your Word may be drawn to You, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Day 3 - The Spirit of Grace ✨

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would help us reflect God’s grace and love to our Five.

O Lord,
in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son our God,
give us that love which can never cease,
that will kindle our lamps but not extinguish them,
that they may burn in us and enlighten others.

Day 2 - The Spirit Broods over Creation ✨

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would move over the lives of our Five, bringing light and life where they need it most.

Eternal God, eternal Trinity,
You are a mystery as deep as the sea; the more I search, the more I find, and the more I find the more I search for You. But I can never be satisfied; what I receive will ever leave me desiring more. When You fill my soul, I have an ever-greater hunger, and I grow more famished for Your light. I desire above all to see You, the true light, as You really are.

Today marks Day 1 of Thy Kingdom Come 2026. ✨

As this year’s global wave of prayer begins, we invite you to join us over the next 11 days in praying, ‘Come Holy Spirit’, asking God to renew us by His Spirit and help us share His love with the Five people we are holding in prayer.

Let us pray that the Spirit will make us effective witnesses to our Five loved ones. 🙏

Oh Lord, never suffer us to think that we can stand by ourselves and not need You.

Our wonderful volunteers run a weekly baby and toddler group on Tuesday afternoons!

Toddler Train is open to all babies, toddler and pre-schoolers under 5 and their adults.

We have a dedicated baby space for floor play, role play area, small world play, seperate physical play/ride on toy area. Plus there are crafts, snack time and music time to finish off the session.

Come along and find out more, Tuesdays 1.30-3pm

🎶 We are excited to have the Bodium Concert Band performing a concert on Saturday 16th May 2pm in the church.

🎺 🎷 🪊 🎹 The band rehearses in the hall each Monday and this is a wonderful opportunity for a musical afternoon of a varied programme.

🍰 As it's a concert and cake afternoon there will of course be cake as well!

Donations are warmly recieved for Hawkhurst Baptist Church.

Sunday Club had great fun welcoming Jesus into our lives this morning!

But this is an eventful week we remember, join us as we consider all that happens to Jesus with these Easter services.

11.30 walk of witness from the Catholic Church
12-1.30 final churches together lent lunch back at HBC Hall.
