Reaching Out - Hawick Congregational Community Church

Reaching Out - Hawick Congregational Community Church Reaching Out is the community project of Hawick Congregational Community Church, and aims to improve the quality of life for people of all ages.

Our approach is one of trust: we meet each other as equals: there is no hierarchy: volunteers are supported to make their oen decisions and take responsibility; volunteers sustain the whole project through their enthusiasm. On an individual level, we provide compassionate listening, and space just 'to be'. Our building also provides space for other community activities and groups. We offer modern

kitchen facilities, state of the art sound system, a stage, and small meeting rooms for hire. Our team is multi- faceted and is composed of trustees, volunteers, supporters, friends, participants and staff. We gratefully acknowledge their continuing assistance and that of our funders, without whose support Reaching Out could not exist in its present form.

T is for Toddlers Together who loved decorating their own initials today. We saw some super "parallel play" today too. This is when toddlers (usually between 2 and 3) play next to each other but tend not to interact. This is a normal part of the learning to play process which, as you can see from today's photos, they do very well indeed! 🪀🤩🧸
