We're talking hot dogs, ice cream, pancakes and nachos, a bouncy castle, toddler area, football skills zone, crafts, a trophy hunt and loads of games.

And at the heart of it all, a chance to hear about the life in all its fullness found in Jesus.

Pop it in the diary, tell your neighbours, bring the kids. We can't wait to see you there.

We live in a world that's constantly changing. And sometimes that's just completely overwhelming. But there’s a verse in the Bible that says:

"The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear?" (Psalm 27:1)

It's great to have safe places, isn't it? But to know there's always someone you can run to: one who doesn't shift, doesn't panic, and who is totally reliable, that's something different altogether.

No matter what's going on in your family, your work, your life, there is always someone you can run to. A refuge. A safe place that doesn't shift. And His name is Jesus.

That's the hope we’ve found, and it’s a hope that is offered to you too!

Our young people gather for games, chat, and time in God’s word. Always a good evening.

🍼 Tue 2 & Wed 3 Jun 10 am – Babies & Toddlers
A relaxed morning for little ones and their grown-ups. Toys, songs, coffee, and a bible story.

🙏 Tue 2 Jun 7.30 pm – Collective Prayer
We come together to pray for our church, our community, and the world. All welcome.

✨ Wed 3 Jun 10.30 am – Ladies' Prayer Meeting
A warm space for the ladies of Emmanuel to pray together and catch up.

🍽️ Fri 5 Jun 12.00 pm – Emmanuel Kitchen
A hot meal, good company, and a warm welcome.

☕️ Sat 6 Jun 7.30 am – Prayer Breakfast
Start the day with breakfast and prayer. A lovely time to come together as a church and pray for each other.

🎶 Sun 7 Jun (9am & 11am) – Sunday Worship
Two gatherings to choose from. Whichever suits you, we'd love to see you there.

Everyone is welcome at Emmanuel, whether it's your first time or your hundredth. See you this week 💛

Last weekend, a small team from Emmanuel Church made the journey to Preston for the Annual Free Methodist Church Conference, and what a weekend it was to be part of.

While there, we had the beautiful privilege of witnessing something truly special: the ordination as a schools chaplain of our very own Robyn Welsby. 🎉

Back home, many of us gathered at the church to watch together, and others followed along online, and we love that. That’s what community looks like. No matter where we were, we were united in prayer, in celebration, and in gratitude for this milestone in Robyn’s journey.

Robyn, we are so proud of you and so thankful to God for all He is doing in and through you. What a joy it is to witness His faithfulness. 🙏
