As we come to the start of a new term after the summer, we’re gathering together to pause, pray and worship, and to place the weeks and months ahead in God’s hands.

We want to keep prayer and worship at the heart of all we do at St John’s. We’ll pray for each other, our community, our church, the new term ahead, and whatever else is on your heart.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’ve been before or it’s your first time. 🙏

What an incredible Community Fundraiser Day! Saturday was such a brilliant day and a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together.

We’re thrilled that just over £1,000 was raised for St John’s - an incredible amount that will go a long way towards supporting the work and ministry of our church in the local community.
A huge thank you to Natasha, Russell and their family for all their hard work in making the day happen, and to everyone else who helped, donated or simply came along and supported the day.

Thank you for making it such a fantastic day!

BAPTISMS

A throwback to a few weeks ago, when we held our baptism service at St John’s. What a joy it was to baptise 12 people and to stand alongside them as they took this step in their journey of faith.

It was such a privilege to hear their testimonies - stories of how God has met them, changed their lives and brought them into a deeper relationship with Him.

We’re so grateful to be part of these journeys and excited to see all that God continues to do in their lives.

Exciting news – we have a new curate!
A very warm welcome to Becki and her family! Becki will be with us part-time, serving both here and at St Etheldreda's Church, until early next year when she'll be joining us full-time. We're really looking forward to getting to know Becki and her family over the coming months.

Looking for something exciting for the kids this summer? Join us for Holiday Club on 17th–19th August, from 9.00am–2.00pm!
This year's theme is Heroes of the Bible as we discover the incredible people God chose to work through for the good of others. Expect three action-packed days full of games, crafts, music, stories, challenges, laughter and loads of fun! 🌟

Wasn't Sunday amazing! 🎉

We had the joy of gathering together for a wonderful Family Service, celebrating the baptism of one of the children in our church family, and sharing in our Culture Day bring-and-share lunch.

It was an incredible celebration of all that makes St John's such a special church family. From different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions, we came together as one family in Christ, giving thanks for the diversity that enriches our church family and reflects the beauty of God's kingdom.
