Our next Worship & Prayer Night is this Thursday (4th June) at 7pm in the church building.
We’ll be taking time to worship together, pray, and make space to pause before God. A chance to bring whatever’s going on in life, and to seek God together as a church.
Whether you’re confident in prayer or unsure what to expect, you are very welcome. Come and join us as we worship and pray together.

Our friends at St Mary’s Church, North Mymms are hosting an Ascension Day service on 14th May at 6:30pm, and everyone is warmly invited to attend.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for local churches to come together as we mark Ascension Day in worship and fellowship.

Two services. One church.
At St John’s, we gather every Sunday at 10am and 5pm - two different expressions of worship, but the same heart: to encounter God together.
Whether you’re new, returning, or have been coming for years, you are welcome at either service.

At St John’s, we love building community - whether that’s on Sundays as we gather to worship, or throughout the week as we spend time together.

One of the ways people do that is by joining others from church at parkrun. Whether you’re a runner, jogger, or prefer a steady walk, it’s a great way to start the day and be part of something together.

We're looking for a practical, reliable, and friendly part-time Caretaker to help care for our much-loved and well-used church hall.

📍 Location: St Michael’s Church, AL10 0PS
⏰ Hours: 6 hours per week (some fixed times, otherwise flexible hours)
💷 Pay: £13-£15 per hour (dependent on experience)

We’re looking for someone practical, reliable, and friendly to help with maintenance, cleaning, and occasional support for events and hall bookings. The role involves lone working and flexible hours.

🔒 A DBS check and safeguarding training will be required.

Over Holy Week and Easter, it’s been a joy to gather at St John’s. Through our services, we reflected, prayed, and remembered the significance of Jesus’ final days.

It was also wonderful to welcome so many families from across our community at our Family Fun Day.

And on Easter Sunday, we gathered as one church family to celebrate the risen Jesus - full of joy, and new life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, you’d be so welcome anytime at St John’s.
