Thank you to all the volunteers who came to our first gardening session this morning 🪏

We had a very productive morning cutting back all the overgrown brambles to the side of the hall making the path much clearer and tidier.

Our next session will be Saturday 29th August, St Veronica’s Hall from 9am-11am.

🌿 Parish Hall Gardening Volunteers Needed! 🌿

Why not join us for our Saturday Morning Gardening Group and help keep St. Veronica’s Hall grounds looking their best?

📍St. Veronica’s Hall, Helmshore Road
📅 Every last Saturday of the month
🕘 9:00am (maximum 2 hours)

Our first session will be on Saturday 25th July.

☕ Brews & biscuits provided!

Please bring any gardening tools you have, such as:
🍃 Rakes
🛞 Wheelbarrows
✂️ Secateurs
🌱 Or any other useful garden tools

We’ll be tidying the grounds, clearing overgrown bushes, and helping keep our parish looking welcoming for everyone.

🌦️ If it’s raining, we’ll move the session to the following week.

You don’t have to come every month—whether you can help once in a while or regularly, every pair of hands makes a difference and would be greatly appreciated!

We’d love to see you there!

🎶⭐️Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first of our Charity Picnic Concerts ⭐️ 🎶

It was wonderful to see so many parishioners, families, friends, and members of our local community come together to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of music.

A special thank you goes to Rossendale Valley Sounds for their wonderful performance.

We were also grateful that the weather held off for us, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the concert outdoors!

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported the event, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success. Your generosity and community spirit are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you to our next concert on Sunday 12th July @ 2pm.
