Fantastic news to hear of the appointment of Archdeacon Rick Simpson as the next Bishop of Durham. Congratulations Rick!

We are delighted to announce that the Venerable Rick Simpson, currently Archdeacon of Auckland, is to become the next Bishop of Durham. The appointment has been approved by His Majesty the King and confirmed by Downing Street this morning.
