Central Hartlepool Group Mission Project

Central Hartlepool Group Mission Project Bringing hope, practical help and spiritual growth to the people of Hartlepool. Supporting people to overcome life limiting issues.

Walking alongside families, as well as people experiencing hardship and homelessness in our community. The Central Hartlepool Group Mission Project (formerly Communities of Hope Hartlepool) is part of the Central Hartlepool Group of Churches, with the aim of sharing God's love and creating new worshipping communities within our parishes and across the town. The Group consists of the parishes of St Aidan and St Columba, St Luke, and All Saints (Stranton) churches.

This week at St Columba's in our Heart of the Week service, we prayed for all those living in Arnold Grove on the Rift House Estate.

We also pray for people we hear about and any local issues that we become aware of and add to our prayer boards. Never underestimate the power of prayer with love.

Do you have something you want praying for? Let us know.

To everyone in the Rift House area. Food to help you through the week.

Sometimes a big bill comes through. Sometimes the money runs out. If this happens to you or you know of a neighbour that might need some help, we have some food bags you can pick up from St Columba's, Dryden Rd TS25 4NY on Thursdays 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Come and have a coffee/tea and biscuits and a sit down if you want.

All are welcome.

St Aidan's and St Columba's parish barbecue. Beautiful sunshine and company.

Becca and her family came back from Mirfield (in Yorkshire) where she is studying to be a priest, to meet with everyone from her sending parish.

Everyone is always welcome at St Aidan's or/and St Columba's in Hartlepool.

We live in a stressful society and sometimes it is good for our emotional and spiritual health to reset our minds and bodies.

Try giving this a go. It's free or you can make a donation. We have tea/coffee and a short social chat before hand and then go into a meditation (sitting down on a chair, not on the floor) relaxing the body and our breathing and then into a reflective place of peace in our minds.

No need to book, just turn up. All are welcome

St Aidan's on tour...to Lindisfarne. Beautiful and moving service in the ancient church. The group were definitely in full voice with the hymns.

Some of us walked over St Cuthberts island and saw seals dancing in the water..... and then disappearing as soon as you tried to take a photo.
