Walking alongside families, as well as people experiencing hardship and homelessness in our community. The Central Hartlepool Group Mission Project (formerly Communities of Hope Hartlepool) is part of the Central Hartlepool Group of Churches, with the aim of sharing God's love and creating new worshipping communities within our parishes and across the town. The men's group today at St Columba's. We share our stories for the week, we support each other, we pray for each other and this week we enjoyed making pies together... and obviously eating them afterwards.
We discovered Jamie had hidden talents on the cooking front.

Oh, and we all agreed the pies were much better than what you get in shops!

These weren't just ordinary pies, they were men's group pies!!

This week at St Columba's we prayed for everyone living in Chesterton's Street in our Heart of the Week service.

Our Meditation session at 2pm today. We start with coffee tea and biscuits and a social gathering and then go into the Meditation.

We start with relaxing the body and mind with calming our breathing and then bodies in the comfort of our chairs.

We then enter into a prayerful state via a led Meditation into an opportunity to encounter God in our relaxed and distraction free minds.

All are welcome. If you have never tried Meditations, this is all for free so it is a safe space to try it. You maybe pleasantly surprised by the results.

At 1pm we have our Heart of the Week service where we prayed for everyone in the Rift House area and this week, especially for all who work and use the Catholic Club.

Andrew often goes there so he was happy to be holding up the stone with the Catholic Club's name written on it.

This week at St Columba's in our Heart of the Week service, we prayed for all those living in Arnold Grove on the Rift House Estate.

We also pray for people we hear about and any local issues that we become aware of and add to our prayer boards. Never underestimate the power of prayer with love.

Do you have something you want praying for? Let us know.
