Good morning all, we meet this Sunday morning, on the last day of May, at 11 AM for morning worship and everyone is very welcome to join us for this service.
Tea and coffee will be served in the church hall after the service.. The Sunday School meets for their own class in the church hall and welcomes all primary age young people. A creche is always available for under 5s in the small hall..
This morning, we resume our study of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew's gospel, with a sermon called "Vanity begins in the Heart". from Matthew 6:1-4 , looking at how important a godly motivation is in our worship of God as well as our dealings with others.

Matthew 6:1-4 NIV .Giving to the Needy
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

For those unable to attend in-person due to distance and age, the service will also be Live-streamed using the Sunday morning Zoom link, and can be joined also on YouTube Live at 11 AM. Our YouTube channel can be found by searching for Tarbert Church, Isle of Harris on YouTube.
