Lots going on at St John’s as we start back - whether it’s school or work

Following a request from St Albans Cathedral for a choir to lead its Choral Services last weekend, singers from St John’s Choir joined forces with the City Chamber Choir and other local singers to sing two Evensongs and Matins at the Cathedral.

The services were directed by St John’s Director of Music, Matt Harrison, and it was a wonderful experience for all the singers. They were made to feel incredibly welcome and very well supported by everyone at the Cathedral.

They are also hugely grateful to their organists, James Watson and Tomyr Warcaba-Wood, for joining them for the weekend and accompanying them so brilliantly.

A memorable weekend of music, friendship and collaboration — and a wonderful opportunity to sing in such a magnificent setting!
