We’re looking for an experienced Children and Families Development Worker to join us at High Street.

We’re a thriving all-age church in the heart of Harpenden, excited about the potential to grow our ministry with young families. We’re looking for someone who can strategise, lead and develop our work, build relationships with children and families, and help them explore and nurture faith.

What does love look like today?

When fear and division make us turn against each other,
give me the courage to choose another way.

Help me listen rather than dismiss,
seek justice rather than revenge,
and choose peace rather than hostility.

May I believe another future is possible,
and begin living towards it today.

Picnic in the Park: Food, Fun and Fellowship!

Around 50 of us gathered in Rothamsted Park last Sunday for our annual Picnic in the Park, organised by our stewards.

There was plenty of food and conversation — plus word games, pass the parcel, tug of war, egg and spoon racing and can tossing, with perhaps just a little competitive spirit emerging along the way! 😄

And, of course, there was cake.

A huge thank you to our stewards for organising such a fun afternoon, and especially to Mike for bringing it all together.
