As 2023 comes to a close, what are you thankful for from this last year?

In the mystery of the Incarnation, we find the extraordinary humility of God. As we celebrate this season, let us marvel at the depth of divine love expressed in the humblest of beginnings.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FRIENDS!!!

On this joyous Christmas Day, our hearts turn to the glorious promise spoken of in Revelation 22:5:

"And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever."

As we bask in the warmth of Christmas celebrations, let the joyous truth of this verse illuminate our hearts. The picture painted in Revelation extends beyond the manger, inviting us to envision a future where the need for external sources of light ceases to exist. In the eternal presence of God, His divine radiance becomes the everlasting source of illumination.

This Christmas, we celebrate not only the birth of the ultimate Light in the form of a vulnerable babe but also the promise of a future where God's light will dispel every shadow. In the eternal reign of the Lord God, night surrenders to an unending day, and His light becomes the unceasing source of our joy and hope.

Take a moment to reflect on the significance of a world bathed in the light of God. No lamp or sun is needed, for His glory permeates every corner. This vision reminds us that the birth of Christ is not just a historical event but a prelude to the ultimate fulfilment of God's plan—a plan where His light reigns forever.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, on this Christmas Day, we thank you for the ultimate Light, Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate. As we anticipate the fulfilment of your promise in Revelation, may your light continue to illuminate our hearts, bringing joy and hope to our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

For many children, getting to sleep will be nearly impossible on Christmas Eve.
There will be much excitement about the gifts they hope to get in the morning!
The world waited a long time for Jesus to arrive. We were given all too brief a visit. And now it waits for him to return.
Christmas Eve is a reminder of those times of waiting.
This Christmas Eve, take some time to prepare your heart for Christ and reflect on his promise that He will return one day and make all things new.
