Our two new churchwardens, Mary and Richard, were licensed tonight at a service in Roydon led by our Archdeacon Kate. We wish them ever blessing in this ministry as they lead the church with our ministry team.

Almighty God,
you have given your Holy Spirit to the Church
to lead us into all truth:
bless Mary and Richard with the Spirit's grace and presence
and keep them steadfast in faith and united in love,
that they may manifest your glory
and prepare the way of your kingdom;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

All three cubs out tonight playing while Mama fox tries to snooze!

And in case anyone worries Mama has mange, she doesn't. That's her fur growing back where it's patchy!😊

Tonight we celebrate at 8.00pm the feast of Corpus Christi.
We give special thanks for the gift of Jesus received in Holy Communion, remembering God’s great love for us revealed in all Jesus has done through his death and resurrection.

On the night before Jesus died, He took some bread, and thanked God for it and broke it, gave it to his friends and He said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; do this in Remembrance of me.’

He then took the cup after supper, blessed it and shared it with his friends. He said, ‘This is my blood poured out for you. Whenever you drink it, do this in Remembrance of me.’

Christians have celebrated this special meal ever since as we gather in His name and know His presence there with us.

All are welcome.

This is cute.....turn sound down as radio's noisy!
That's Twiglet on left, she was last years cub. New cub in middle. Mama on right. Sooooo sweet! Foxes are so clean. The are always washing and grooming one another.

Before we get anymore comments, please be aware none of these foxes have mange. They look patchy because their fur is still growing back. All are 100% healthy, cubs too.

The vicarage garden is alive with foxes! At the moment there are 4 adults and three cubs. Two adults are last years female cubs.
Turns out we have three cubs this year and two are very pale and the other more red.
Just look how Mama looks at her cub. Soooooo sweeeet!
They play, eat, sleep, play, eat, sleep, play, eat, sleep.....
Poor Papa he gets worn out jumping around and sparring with them, while Mama tolerates them while they still taking milk from here.....but they are not much smaller than her now!
They are very adorable and we are so lucky to see them.
The picture of the two foxes lying down, one with legs stretched out behind her, is mum and one of last years cubs. It's Twiglet and her tail is finally growing back now.
They are so happy and relaxed her.
It's a safe place for them until they start to wander outside the boundaries.....
Enjoy!
