Thank you so much to everyone who supported the Hanmer Autumn Fayre this year. With your help and support we have raised over £7,800!!! A brilliant total and testament to everyone who shopped, sold, sponsored and volunteered. This will help to keep our beautiful St Chad's Church, Hanmer open for everyone.

We have also made gifts of £1,000 to The League of Friends RJAH and £700 to Horseman's Green community Two amazing causes who help so many local people.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 12th November 2026!!!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the Hanmer Autumn Fayre today. We have all had a brilliant, busy day and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting some new ones too.

We hope Courtyard Interiors don’t mind us giving you all a sneaky peek of their amazing set up for tomorrow. If only social media posts could be a ‘scratch and sniff’ because it also smells divinely festive! They have used the interior of the church so well, as always, making the most of those beautiful stained glass windows. Do pay them a visit tomorrow!

Only one day to go! We’re excited to see everyone at the Hanmer Autumn Fayre tomorrow. A huge number of people help with this event, and our generous sponsors are a huge part of that.

Trevanion Auctioneers & Valuers have been kind enough to support us for many years now. It is absolutely worth a trip to one of their auctions to see, not only the treasures they have on offer, but also their beautiful and historic home in the Joyce Building, Whitchurch.

Cash is King! Set up for the 14th Hanmer Autumn Fayre is now well underway and here is a little reminder to please bring some cash with you. 💰 💸

Most stallholders have the facility to take card payments, but our amazing, thick church walls do tend to block 4G signal so that can become tricky. The Hanmer Village Store & Post Office houses our local Post Office where you can withdraw cash, and they also have some wonderful things on sale there so definitely worth a browse.

Our Hanmer Autumn Fayre raffle has something very special to be won this year! A 3-night stay at Magpie Cottage nestled close to the mere in our beautiful village.

This is a really special spot with kitchen, dining and sitting rooms as well as a characterful bathroom and two bedrooms to sleep four people. Enjoy a walk in our spectacular countryside before snuggling up by the log burner in this gorgeously curated, historic cottage!
