A wonderful concert this afternoon at Hanbury Church by Harpeggio - 8 wonderful Celtic Harps playing a lovely selection of music,all of this intermingled with a lovely afternoon tea. A wonderful £817 raised in donations at the concert all to help the Organ Restoration which starts at the end of this month.

Thank you to all who gave of their time to make the concert possible and to those who attended and gave generously for such a wonderful cause 🎶🎹🙏

Yesterday our Organist Keith Hearnshaw played the lunchtime organ concert at Tewkesbury Abbey. A number from the regular congregation and the Reverend Richard from Hanbury Church attended. Keith said it was also wonderful to see Dr Roy Massey and James Lancelot in the audience too former Organists and Master of the Choristers at Hereford and Durham Cathedrals respectively. His programme was well received and those from Hanbury said what a wonderful sound the Organ made in the beautiful Abbey.

Our Organist Keith quite by chance met a budding young organist this afternoon while doing the hymn boards for next Sunday. Joseph was with his grandparents from Malvern looking around the church and he’s having piano lessons but never played an Organ before so he was over the moon to have a go. He even was adding his feet in and playing the right notes 🎹🎶👏🏻👏🏻 very impressive.

Wonderful to host the Bishop of Worcester - Bishop Hugh today at Church. He met a number of people and from some of the other group churches and he was very interested in the Organ restoration project and the 75th Archers Exhibition in church.
