We had a wonderful day yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came to our Snowdrop-in and enjoyed a cuppa and cake, made a snowdrop card and stayed awhile in this beautiful, peaceful setting of Coanwood Quaker Meeting House.
The snowdrops are now at their peak - catch them before they pass. Here's a little acrostic tribute to this hopeful herald of Spring by James Oates.
Soon your head will bow its last
Never broken nor downcast
Only here a mote of time
When a season calls for you to pass
Days of white and green are swift
Resting there as winter lifts
Over when the days grow long
Prolific little natures' gift.
