☕🍰 THE BRIDGE SATURDAY CAFÉ IS BACK! 🍰☕

Join us on Saturday 10th October from 3pm–5pm as we launch our new programme of Saturday afternoons at The Bridge Café!

And we thought we’d start with a little treat…

🎉 FREE SCONE OR CAKE WITH EVERY HOT DRINK! 🎉

Come in from the autumn weather, grab a cuppa and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with good company. ☕😊

There’s lots more planned over the coming months too – from games and crafts to our Prayer Day and Christmas activities.

🎶 Fancy an afternoon of live music? 🎶

We’re bringing together three choirs under one roof for our Choirs in Concert afternoon at Cross Hills Methodist Church!

You’ll hear music from the Overgate Hospice Hi-Notes Choir, The Elland Male Voice Choir and our very own Cross Hills Church Choir. 🎵

And, of course, no Methodist Church afternoon would be complete without refreshments! ☕🍰

🏹 READY… AIM… JC’s! 🎯

What are your children doing this Friday evening?

At JC’s Kids Club we’re currently following the story of David and taking on our Target Challenge!

From a young shepherd boy 🐑 to facing Goliath 💪, becoming a songwriter 🎵 and eventually a King 👑 – there’s quite a story to discover!

And along the way there’ll be…

😂 And plenty of fun!

JC’s is for children aged 5–11 and meets every Friday from 6pm–7.30pm at Cross Hills Methodist Church, Greetland.

There’s a voluntary contribution of £2, which includes the snack and craft materials.

🍎🌾 IT’S TOMORROW! – HARVEST AT CROSS HILLS 🌾🍎

Tomorrow is our Harvest Festival, and we’d love you to come and join us!

🥐 9.30am – Breakfast & Crafts
⛪ 10.30am – ABC Worship for All Ages, led by Eilidh Gunson

Then we’ll be back together in the evening…

🔨 7pm – Harvest Auction at The Rose & Crown, Greetland

We’re still very grateful for donations of fruit, veg, cakes, jam, flowers or anything else we can auction – whether home-grown, homemade or shop-bought! 🍰🥕🌻

❤️ All proceeds from the auction will go to Overgate Hospice.

So whether you fancy breakfast, worship, a good auction – or all three – come and celebrate Harvest with us!

Our battery-powered pig racing returns on Saturday 24th October at Greetland Social Club.
