🍂 HARVEST FESTIVAL – SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 🍂

We’d love you to join us for our Harvest Festival at Cross Hills Methodist Church – with something happening in the morning and evening!

🥐 9.30am – Breakfast & Crafts
⛪ 10.30am – ABC Worship for All Ages, led by Eilidh Gunson

Then in the evening we’ll be heading to The Rose & Crown, Greetland for our:

🍎 HARVEST AUCTION – 7pm 🍎

We’d be very grateful for donations of fruit, vegetables, cakes, jam, flowers – or anything else that can be auctioned!

❤️ All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Overgate Hospice.

Come along for all or part of the day – everyone is very welcome!

Our famous Pig Racing Night is back! Join us for an evening of laughter, friendly competition and plenty of surprises as our battery-powered racing pigs battle it out for glory.

🌼🌿 Flower Service & Well Service – Sunday 5th July 2026 🌿🌼

You're warmly invited to join us at Cross Hills Methodist Church for a special day of worship, fellowship, food, and celebration.

🌸 10:30am – Flower Service
Led by Janet Lawton
Please bring a few flowers with you as we decorate the cross together, creating a beautiful symbol of faith and community.

🍔 Lunch Together
Enjoy Sean’s famous BBQ along with a tempting selection of delicious desserts. A wonderful opportunity to relax, chat, and spend time together.

💧 1:00pm – Well Service
Held at the bottom of the garden and led by Rev. Godfrey, with music provided by the choir.

Whether you're a regular member of the church or visiting for the first time, everyone is welcome to come and share in this special day.

A huge thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who have worked so hard throughout the year to make The Bridge Café such a welcoming place for our community.

Last Saturday, 13th June, was our final Saturday opening before our summer break. The café is now closed on Saturdays for the summer, giving our volunteers a well-deserved opportunity to spend time with family and friends.

Don't worry though – we're still open as usual on Mondays and Fridays and look forward to welcoming you then!

Wishing everyone a happy, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. ☀️☕️
