At the end of this month we will be celebrating our Patronal Festival. The weekend nearest to St Peter's Day (after whom our church is named). ✝️🎉🎊

This year we are doing something a little different and holding an "Eco Flower Festival" from Friday 26th June to Sunday 28th June. Church will be open from 4-6pm on the Friday and 11-4pm on the Saturday with displays from members of the local community including Lapal Primary School and there will be a performance on the Saturday afternoon (12-1) from Lapal Community Choir. 🌷🌸🌹🌺🌻

Come along and enjoy a cream tea, wander round the displays and keep the children entertained with one of the activities on offer. 😁😁😁😁

Join us this Sunday at 9.30am as we celebrate Trinity Sunday together. A service of holy communion with child focussed activities available followed by refreshments and fellowship. 🙏🏻✝️

Faith n Fun 24 May 2026 - Pentecost 😄

Today in the church we celebrate Pentecost 🔥 also called the birthday of the church when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our advocate and companion. The Holy Spirit came in wind and fire and as a result the disciples were able to speak in all the languages of the people in Jerusalem and able to share the story of Jesus with them. Hence the beginning of the Christan Church.

Our altar frontal today was created by our children as part of Faith n Fun last month. Isn't it fabulous. Can you see the fire and wind represented?

Many congratulations to our Team friends at St Margaret’s Hasbury in achieving their Gold Eco Award.

We DID IT!!! We are sooooo excited to announce we have won the prestigious A Rocha Gold Award as an “eco church”! We are so thrilled and thank everyone for their support, time and encouragement. This is a very special award and we are only the second to achieve it in the Worcester Diocese: we are very privileged.

It is only the beginning of a new chapter however, keep an eye open as we continue to grow! God’s Creation and the care of it and wonder of it, is absolutely woven into our life of faith, and we fully commit to continuing to pray, serve, celebrate, nurture and educate on a local, community and global scale…. Watch this space 😍

We will be planning some community celebrations, so more news to come there, and don’t forget you can also celebrate with us at our Bee Themed Coffee Morning with family fun and honey tasting Saturday June 20th 10.30-12.30
