This January, St Barnabas and St James the Less are running Alpha — a relaxed, welcoming space to explore the Christian faith and chat honestly about life’s big questions.

Each week includes:

Connection – time to arrive and settle in

Content – a short talk/video (about 30 minutes)

Conversation – open discussion (say as much or as little as you like)

No pressure. No obligation. Free to attend.

We’re delighted to welcome Allegro to St Barnabas Church, Hadleigh for a beautiful afternoon of Christmas music on Sunday 14th December at 3pm.

Come and enjoy a lovely mixture of traditional and modern carols, as well as some well-known favourites for everyone to join in with. It’s a wonderful way to pause, breathe, and enjoy the joy of the season together.

A great time was had by all before breaking up for the summer holidays. Water fights, outdoor games, indoor quiet activities, pizza making. Messy Church was fun for both adults and children. We said a fond farewell to Stuart who works so hard to make it fun for the children. We will miss you and thankyou so much for entertaining us. We will always remember you.

A massive thankyou to everyone who came to the Confirmation and Baptism at St Barnabas last night. Thankyou to all the people that supported, set up and helped. There's too many to mention but if it wasn't for the whole community, it couldn't have happened. It was lovely to see Bishop Adam who was so lovely. The buffet was a wonderful end to a great evening. I'm so proud of the whole team of volunteers. It means a lot and you all made it possible for these people to be guided through the next step of the Christian faith. Congratulations to everyone who got baptised and confirmed. Everyone is welcome at St Barnabas.
