St Marys Church Haddenham We are the Church of England (Anglican) parish church in the village of Haddenham in Buckinghamshire. St.

Mary's, Haddenham is the largest parish in the benefice of Wychert Vale with Cuddington, Kingsey, Stone and Dinton together with Aston Sandford and is part of the Diocese of Oxford. We are also responsible for the ground-breaking Cafeplus+ initiative which meets monthly in the village.

What a wonderful year of delicious homemade soups, cheese scones, quiches, sandwiches, cakes, coffee, conversation and community!

Today we celebrated one whole year of Pop-Up Café at Haddenham Airfield Pavilion! 🥳

A huge thank you to everyone who has dropped in over the past year, whether just once or as a regular visitor. It’s because of YOU that Pop-Up Café has become such a warm, friendly and welcoming place! ❤️

And of course, a big thank you to our wonderful team who make it all happen.

There’s a warm welcome for you at any of our services this Sunday, whether you come to church regularly or haven’t been for a while.

💛 9:00am – Holy Communion
Our sermon series *Counterfeit Gods* continues with Love: When Relationships Become Idols**. We’ll be exploring how relationships, which are such good gifts, can sometimes become things we depend on too much.

👶 9:30am – Bubble Church
Free, puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-food-fuelled fun for the whole family! Especially for babies, toddlers and young children, with their grown-ups. Join us at Haddenham Airfield Pavilion for coffee and pastries from 9:15am, with the fun starting at 9:30am.

🌿 10:30am – All-Age Morning Worship
Our *Counterfeit Gods* series continues as we explore what happens when relationships take the place that belongs to God. Come and reflect with us as we look at Genesis 22:1–8 and Matthew 10:34–39.

🎶 6:00pm – Evening Praise
End the day with worship, praise and time together in God’s presence.

Free, puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-food-fuelled fun for the whole family!

If you’re in Haddenham and looking for something to do together on Sunday morning, come and join us at the Airfield Pavilion.

Bubble Church is for the whole family — babies, toddlers, children, parents, grandparents and friends. Come along, grab a coffee and pastry, enjoy some songs, stories and puppets, and discover more about Jesus together.

What does success mean to us?

We all want to do well. We want our lives to matter, to achieve something, to be good at what we do. But what happens when success becomes more important than anything else?

This Sunday we continue our Counterfeit Gods series, looking at Success – the Counterfeit God of Achievement.

9.00am – Holy Communion
A quieter service of Holy Communion.

10.30am – Morning Worship + Children’s Church
A lively, all-age welcome with worship, teaching and Children’s Church.

Come and explore what Jesus has to say about achievement, identity and what really gives our lives worth.

Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a regular at St Mary’s or haven’t been for a while, or you’re simply curious and want to come along.

Practicing the Way – our next course is coming!

We’re excited to be starting another Practicing the Way course at St Mary’s this November.

Practicing the Way is about learning to follow Jesus not just by what we believe, but by how we live – making space to be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do what Jesus did.

This next course will be a chance to eat, share and practise together, exploring simple ways of following Jesus in everyday life.

🕖 7–9pm
☕ With snacks and refreshments

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or are simply curious about what it might look like to build faith into everyday life, you’d be very welcome.
