Is believing in the resurrection ridiculous?

Maybe you have asked this question over the Easter weekend. It’s either ridiculous or true, but don’t take our word for it. We will be running a daytime and evening Christianity Explored course.

Seven weeks. Seven conversations. One question that could change everything.

If you are interested, you can either DM us or even better, speak to a Christian friend.

EASTER SUNDAY
Christ is risen. He is risen indeed.

“On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus...”
‭‭
“When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. But they did not believe the women… Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves…”

‭‭Verses from Luke‬ ‭24‬

All welcome to our Easter Sunday service tomorrow morning.

“It’s a wonderful privilege to be on this side of the cross to see that the promised One came and became the sacrifice for our sins in his death and rose again to bring new life three days later. Those days are not theory, or a made-up story, they’re not an analogy or a parable, they actually took place.” (Andy Taylor)

GOOD FRIDAY

“The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head… As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, ‘Crucify! Crucify!’”

“Carrying his own cross, he [Jesus] went out to the place of the Skull… There they crucified him…”
‭‭
“Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, ‘I am thirsty.’… When he had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

Verses from John‬ ‭19‬
