Tuesday Toddlers is open again at Guisborough Methodist tomorrow after our half-term break. Some of the youngsters we've had all year are beginning to move on to school nurseries etc now so we'd love to see some new faces 🥰. 1- 2.30pm, costs just £1 (includes refreshments)

🙏 Jesus, you promised that I would “receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon [me]” to be a witness to your resurrection (Acts 1:8). Please give me an opportunity today, here where I am, to do just that, pointing someone to you. Come, Holy Spirit!

🙏 I pray today for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your Church, particularly remembering all those being baptised today in water and in the power of the Spirit. Come, Holy Spirit!

Urgent prayer request from Open Doors, the organisation that supports persecuted Christians.

Children kidnapped in Nigeria

In a single day, multiple schools became the latest victims of extremist militant violence in northern Nigeria. Several people were killed in the assault, and almost 100 students and teachers have been kidnapped. Over half of the children taken are between the ages of two and five.

The brazen assault has been attributed to extremist groups seeking to overturn lives and envelope majority-Christian communities in fear. Such aggression marks a continuation of the violence vulnerable communities having been suffering in Nigeria.

Please pray:

🙏 For the well-being of the children who have been kidnapped, that the Lord would miraculously meet each and every need of these young ones
🙏 That the Lord would grant deep and abiding peace to their parents and families and protect vulnerable communities
🙏 For the Holy Spirit to powerfully convict and transform the hearts of the attackers to release captives, end their destructive schemes and turn to Jesus.

We’re putting a call out to our local community 💚🪴💚

Right now, The Nest is in urgent need of some space in Guisborough to help us keep doing what we do.

What we’re looking for (in order of urgency):

1. Storage space for materials and equipment – ideally ground floor access
2. A small office space
3. A larger space for meetings, workshops and community activities (the dream!)

If you’re a local business, organisation, or even know someone with unused space, we’d really love to hear from you. We’re a grassroots, community-focused project working on environmental initiatives locally, and we’re hoping someone might be able to support us with donated space or a low-cost rental.

Every bit of support helps us grow and do more for the community.
