We’ve done food, and how to nourish ourselves from the inside out to feel fabulous and look after the planet now we’re going all out to sashay our way through life…..with not even a manicured finger messing up the environment.

Join us, as we celebrate Guisborough Re-fashion week. Same time as London Fashion week….. we’re doing it with fun, flair and giving fast fashion the middle finger!

Learning: We’ve got talks and discussion. What even IS Fast Fashion? Who even cares? And how can you reimagine your own personal style without damaging your purse or planet.

Let our experts teach you how to mend your own clothes, upcycle them to fit your style….and your wobbly bits.

Bling your old boots, shoes or trainers. Embrace your inner fashion designer and run amok with shiny stuff!!!! We will not be held responsible for your ensuing high jinks once those shiny bad boys are unleashed to the mean streets of Guisborough!

Let’s end the week with a massive fashion show! A collection of the best our local charity shops, vintage retailers and fashion designers have to offer….on REAL bodies! Embrace what you have. Decorate it and let’s absolutely be the fashion icon you deserve to be!

Tuesday Toddlers re-starts on Tuesday 15th September 1-2.30pm. A slightly delayed start as Kath has had surgery over the summer. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new 🥰

It was a privilege for members of our church family to attend the induction service of Revd Johannes Nolan as Rector of St. Nicholas Church tonight. We wish him every blessing in his ministry and look forward to getting to know him better. And the choir sounded amazing 🥰

Thank you everyone who came to our Repair Shop Cafe today with the Eco Group. You helped us to raise £344.31 for Nepal.

As well as being our Repair Shop cafe tomorrow we will be donating all our coffee morning takings to Christian Aid’s emergency Nepal Floods appeal.

From The Nest:

Yesterday we fed 170 lovely people a free meal made with food which would otherwise have gone to waste from our friends at Re-F-use, Durham. 🌎💚

So many great conversations and good food. 🌱🍅

Thanks to all our volunteers for helping us to do this and finish our fortnight of food on a massive high. 👏🏼

As we approach the end of our Community Table event of sustainable food, we would love to invite you all for a free lunch.
After you’ve visited the amazing Yorkshire day celebrations, pop on across to the Methodist Church (on the high street next to Morrisons). We have the incredible team from the REfUSE cooking up a delicious meal, a brilliant bike powered smoothie machine for you to have a go at making your own fruit smoothie, we have free activities and stalls with tips and advice on reducing your food waste, saving money on your food shop and where to buy local produce!

It’s going to be amazing! We hope you can come and say hello!
