For years, the story we have often heard about the Church has been one of decline.
Fewer people.
Fewer ministers.
Fewer buildings.
Less influence.
But what if that isn’t the whole story?
What if God is still at work?
What if people are still searching?
What if questions are still being asked?
What if faith is still being discovered?
What if new life is already beginning to grow?
This Sunday at Lyle Kirk, we begin a brand-new series:
The Church is Alive • God isn’t finished with us yet…
And we begin in Acts 2:42–47, looking at the earliest days of the Church — a community alive with worship, prayer, generosity, friendship, curiosity and the power of the Holy Spirit.
It wasn’t built around survival.
It was built around Jesus.
And “the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
So this Sunday we’ll be asking:
What does a living Church actually look like?
And perhaps more importantly:
Where can we already see signs of new life among us?
Whether you’ve been part of Church for years, haven’t been for a long time, are exploring faith, or simply wonder whether Christianity still has anything to say today, you would be very welcome.
Come and join us as we begin this new journey together.
💧 We will also be celebrating the Baptism of Baby Nico on Sunday - our fourth Baptism in the last month or so!
