Set right in the heart of Greenisland, we believe that God created all of us in his image and because of that, humans have unique value and worth. Each of us is precious in his sight. rt as the people of God in Greenisland to share the love of Jesus here in our neighbourhood and right across the world that God loves. That’s why we exist as a church. To grow in our love for Jesus and to help other people come to know him. Jesus taught that full life was found only in him. We want you to know the life and hope that is only possible with Jesus. We gather for worship each Sunday at 10:30am. Kids' Ministry and creche are available at all our services. There is no dress code, so wear whatever you are comfortable in. Tea & coffee is served in our cafe after worship and we'd be glad to have you with us.

HIIT CLASS TIMETABLE

This week we’re offering a number of short classes on the book of Titus. Each session will be exactly the same as we open the book together to see how God encourages healthy discipleship.

Paul writes this letter to Titus so that an out-of-shape church can become conditioned according to God’s will. No prior knowledge of the Bible, Christianity, or the church is necessary. This would be a great first step to living a healthy life according to God’s design.

𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬

If today was a significant day for you and your family because you received GCSE results, we want you to know that we’re praying for you.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

Well done on seeing it through to this stage. The discipline of revision, submitting coursework, managing time and sitting exams is demanding.

If you have received results that open the doors to return to school, enrol in the next course of study or FE Coolege of your choice — well done! We are happy for you.

In the book of Romans we’re instructed as Christians to “Rejoice with those who rejoice.” Today, regardless of our own circumstances, we are happy for you if you are rejoicing.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧

If today has not provided you with the results you needed, hoped for or expected, then we are genuinely disappointed along with you. Not disappointed in you, but rather we share with you in the pain and frustration of this moment.

You are not alone. As a church family, we want you to know that we grieve with you at what seems right now to be a lost opportunity.

Again, the Bible instructs us to “mourn with those who mourn.”

Christianity in no way diminishes the difficulties of life. It doesn’t offer twee platitudes or shallow sayings to boost your ego. It’s ok to be frustrated at the reality you face. We share in that with you.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥

We believe that a full life cannot be provided to us by academic success and therefore it is not denied to us by academic failure.

Jesus alone is the One who can supply abundant life. He’s the Shepherd who ensures that goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life. Whatever the results are.

Christians believe we ultimately get to where we need to be because of His grace, not our grit. His faithfulness, not our competence.

We were joined by Steve Robinson for the second of our unscripted nights. One of those really great times together as we heard of how God rescued him and gave him life.
