Coffee morning.Our upcoming coffee morning is on Saturday 1st November, 10.00am – 12.00 noon.Offers of help will be welcome as will donations of cakes (home bake or purchased) and prizes for the raffle. Council Meetings Reminder. Extra-ordinary Meeting of the Church Council on Wednesday 1st October at 6.30 pm by Zoom.A special meeting of the church council has been called to consider quotes received for the replacement of the church boiler. As the colder months approach it is felt that an urgent decision is required that cannot wait until the regular church council meeting below. Details of the quotes and a link for the meeting will be forwarded to members a few days beforehand.A further item, the authorisation of a small charitable donation to Oldham Mountain Rescue Team, will also be sought at this meeting.Please note the earlier time of this special meeting, 6.30pm. Church Council Meeting on Thursday, October 23rd at the usual time of 7.00pm by Zoom.Please note this new date for the October Church Council meeting. Greenfield Methodist Church Annual Meeting.
All members of the congregation are invited to attend the annual meeting at the end of the service on Sunday, February 9th. Church stewards and members of the church council are appointed at this meeting and there will be reports and discussion on finance, property and various areas of church life. Coffee will be served.

Thank you to Denise and Rachel for putting up our Christmas decorations and to Dave and Thomas Allonby for helping to put them away. 😊😊😊

• Saturday 18th January there will be a prayer breakfast at the Parish Centre in Uppermill, starting at 8.30am.
• Joint service: We will be joined by the congregations of St Anne’s, Christ Church, St Mary’s and Family Church, Saddleworth for our service of prayer and worship on Sunday, 19th January, stating at 10.45am.

There will also be a prayer meeting at Uppermill Methodist Church on Saturday, 8th February, from 4.30pm – 5.30pm. All are very welcome to join in this meeting.
