Great Yarmouth Minster We are the Parish of Great Yarmouth — one parish worshipping and serving through Great Yarmouth Minster, St Paul’s, Newtown and St Mary’s, Southtown.

All are welcome. Founded in 1101, and still a place of prayer and pilgrimage today

14 people and a dog. 🐾

That was our best turnout for Prayer on the Prom this week — morning prayers on a bench by the boating pond, sea in front of us, joggers going past. People came from different churches across the town, just to pray together in a beautiful place.

It's part of a season of getting outside for us: Gospel on the Beach with Jassica and her band by the Britannia Pier, and a service at the Far East Prisoner of War Memorial for VJ Day. Whether it's a civic service, a song, or a quiet prayer on a blowy Thursday morning — living our faith outwardly, in the public square, matters.

Join us for Morning Prayer out on the Prom this week – a short, reflective service of Morning Prayer held outdoors by the Boating Lake, near Munchies Café.



Monday to Thursday at 9am, 24–27 August. Everyone is welcome, whatever the weather!

Gospel on the Beach has arrived in Great Yarmouth! Join us at Britannia Pier at 2pm for a free presentation of gospel music. Then come to Great Yarmouth Minster at 6pm for our evening concert.
