We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of a three-month-old baby in Great Wyrley.
Our hearts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with the child's family and loved ones as they face an unimaginable loss.
We also remember the emergency services, police officers, and all those involved in responding to this heartbreaking incident.
We are aware that arrests have been made as part of the ongoing police investigation. We recognise that this news may cause shock, sadness, and concern within our community.
At this time, we encourage everyone to avoid speculation, allow the authorities to carry out their enquiries, and respect the privacy of all those affected.
As a church, we are praying for comfort, wisdom, and truth, and we remain available to offer pastoral support to anyone who has been impacted by this tragedy. St Marks Church doors are open during the day.
