My talk 'Love Everything' from yesterday, with wisdom from Martin Luther King Jr. I start with how very difficult this is, move on to why we should try and how, talk about boundaries, and finish with a poem that makes me cry. Offered with love 🙏🏻❣️

In this last of three talks based on Terrance Keenan's Three Active...

What does it mean to 'love everything'? Should we even try?

This Saturday at 10.45am I'll be giving this talk at the temple in Malvern - join us if you're free. This is part of a longer retreat day and you can come for some/all of that too if you'd like.

'No blame, be kind, love everything.' ~ Terrance Keenan

"I really enjoyed these sessions! They were accessible and calming (I love Satya's storytelling), but they went deep and were also very thought provoking. Satya's wisdom is offered gently and spaciously - amongst the demands of a busy time of life it felt so nourishing to carve out some time for reflection. Thank you Satya!" ~ Hannah, course participant

Just one space left if you'd like to join me with a cuppa in the temple living room at 7pm tonight & for two more weeks as I make some proposals about how to live a meaningful life. All welcome!

From 0 (not at all) to 100 (perfectly), how meaningful would you say your life currently is?

Through a combination of luck (where and when I was born, the opportunities available to me) and work (decades of learning, internal work and spiritual practice) I would say mine is around 87%.

I believe that all of us can make small changes that add up. To help us feel like we're actually making a difference, to forgive ourselves for not being 'better people', to align our daily actions with our heart's callings.

This is a picture of me, older. Don't wait until then to start moving towards meaning. Start today!

And maybe join me in Malvern for the next three Monday evenings 😉

"Your problem is how you are going to spend this one and precious life you have been issued. Whether you're going to spend it trying to look good and creating the illusion that you have power over circumstances, or whether you are going to taste it, enjoy it and find out the truth about who you are." ~Anne Lamott

Three spaces taken for my 'How to live a meaningful life' course. Five left. Join me at the temple for three Monday nights?

“I found this course really thought provoking and insightful. Satya offers proposals and remedies to help live a more meaningful life and her wisdom has made me really ponder life’s challenges - in a good constructive way! Thanks Satya.” ~ Fiona, course participant

"My advice for people is to love the world they are in, in whatever way makes sense to them. It may be a devotional practice, it may be song or poetry, it may be by gardening, it may be as an activist, scientist, or community leader. The path to restoration extends from our heart to the heart of sentient beings, and that path will be different for every person."
~ Paul Hawken

This Saturday at 9.30am UK time I'll be offering a free online talk on 'How Buddhism Might Help You' - for anyone wanting to dip their toe into Bright Earth waters.

It's tough to make time for spiritual practice, or to know who or what to trust. And. My foundations in these difficult times are only steady because of my relationship with Buddhist teachings and practice. Maybe you'll discover something similar?
