St Nicholas Church, Great Kimble

St Nicholas Church, Great Kimble St Nicholas Church is home to a wonderful, loving Christian family. It's grade 1 listed, with historic significance - and in dire need of refurbishment.

St Nicholas is a beautiful 14th Century Grade 1 listed church with origins dating back to 12th Century. It is used several times a week for worship by the congregation and by Great Kimble Church of England Infant School. As with many wonderful old buildings, maintenance is ongoing and we now desperately need funds for the installation of a toilet, running water, efficient heating, a servery and ne

w flooring. The church hasn't had a major overhaul since the 1920's. The new space will be warm, welcoming and more flexible, providing a wonderful resource for worship and for the wider community. The local infant school, which lacks a large interior space, will use it for drama and PE. We are hugely grateful for all the funds donated so far, especially from the Friends of Kimble Churches who have contributed regularly for some years. However, this is a large project for a modest community and we need your help! The church is usually open during daylight hours - you are most welcome to visit! Thank you!
