This page is to share what St Nicolas Church is doing in Bookham and to invite you along to the things we get up to! Anyone is always welcome here - no matter what you believe (or don't), whether or not you've gone near a church before, your age, your past or current circumstances. Our weekly Sunday services are:
8 am: said holy communion service (very traditional with no singing)
10 am: Holy Comm

union (traditional with hymns, an organ and a choir)

Throughout the year there are different events, activities and services for every age and stage of life. You are always welcome at any of these and can find full details on our website.

There are some places in our church that no one wants to go…

The toy cupboard was one of them.

Behind that door lurked spiders that were so established they probably paid council tax. Toys we'd given up for lost were so deep in, that they may never have seen daylight again.😰

⚪️Opening it was an act of faith.
🟠Closing it again was an act of survival.

Then… Emily from Eye of the Tidier stepped in.

She faced the chaos the rest of us had feared for years and somehow emerged victorious.💪
The impossible has happened. The cupboard is clean. It's organised. And we can finally open the door without fearing an avalanche.

Emily, thank you for being our hero. We are so incredibly grateful.

We would highly recommend Emily for any organising needs!

The Downsmen arrive in just two days to fill the church with song.

Come for the barbershop, stay for the cake (or vice versa - we won’t judge 😉)
