Help Needed: Pip will be leaving the course so we will be needing a new course leader for September onwards. Training will be given. The course runs on two Monday evenings every other month. Please contact the parish office or Fr Stephen for more information. We thank Pip for her wonderful ministry in assisting parents prepare for their child/children's baptism.

The Knights of Saint Columba National Relic Tour 2023

Booking a Mass Intention
If you would like to offer a Mass for the intentions of a family member or friends, please pick up an envelope at the back of church and fill out the details of the Mass you are requesting and enclose your offering for the Mass. If you add your telephone number, we will contact you when the booking is processed. You may also request a Mass by email and pay the donation online via the website - choose the option "Mass Stipend". The weekend Masses are mostly booked for the next few months but there are mid-week Masses available from August onwards. For further information contact the Office at [email protected]

BCCS: London Marathon 2024
Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society has a number of Gold Bond Charity places for runners in the LONDON MARATHON taking place on SUNDAY 21st April 2024. If you are an experienced runner or someone who would like to participate in this event please contact Damian Dillon for further details on 07912 308000 / [email protected]. Closing date for applications: Friday 28th July. There is a minimum sponsorship requirement of £1800 (excluding Gift Aid). R.C.I.A. Application forms
Application forms for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) will be available to collect after all Masses at the back of both churches. This is for people who wish to become full members of the church or would like to know more about the faith. The course will start in September.

Confirmation Programme Applications for 2023/4
The applications for the next Confirmation programme starting in September will only be available to collect from a Catechist at the back of church after all Masses this weekend, 15th/16th July. You will be asked to choose a date for an interview that will be held in July so please be prepared to choose a date.

St Thomas of Canterbury Church is looking for a Parish Secretary to provide complete and comprehensive administration for the church community. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage their own workload. St Thomas Youth club is run every first and third Friday in the month, term time only and is held in the small church hall. Youth club is now open for children in year 5 (as of Sept 2023) to year 11. Plese pick up an application form from the back of the church
