Small conversations can change lives

"Andrew brought Simon to Jesus." - John 1:42

A small seed looks insignificant. But when planted, it can grow into something much bigger than anyone expected. Andrew’s conversation with Simon looked small. But Simon Peter later became one of the great leaders of the early church. Never underestimate a small act of faithfulness. A conversation over coffee, a message, or a word of encouragement may be the beginning of something God will use in a powerful way. Andrew did not preach to thousands. He brought one person to Jesus. Encourage one person today with a message, phone call, or kind word.

Prayer: Lord, remind me that you work through small things. Use my simple acts of faith to bless others. Amen.

Start with the people close to you

"The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, ‘We have found the Messiah.'" - John 1:41

When people discover a great restaurant, a good film, or a helpful idea, they usually tell the people they love first. They do not normally stop strangers in the street. They share with people they already know. Andrew did the same. He found his brother Simon. Many people think evangelism means speaking to crowds or strangers. But Andrew shows us another way. He started with someone close to him. Your family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues are already part of your story. God may use a simple conversation with someone you already know. Think of one person close to you who needs hope. Pray for them today.

Prayer: God, open my eyes to the people around me. Show me who needs encouragement, hope, and the good news of Jesus. Give me courage to speak naturally. Amen.
