What an incredible afternoon it was! With thousands of people joining us throughout the day, Magdalen Square was full of laughter, conversation, music, fun and community spirit from start to finish.
It was wonderful to see neighbours meeting neighbours, families enjoying time together, children making memories, and people of all ages sharing in such a joyful day.
From alpacas to aerial acts, magic shows to live music, face painting to fairground rides, giant games to sumo wrestling, there really was something for everyone!
We want to say a massive thank you to all the performers, stall holders, activity providers, community groups and organisations who helped make the day so special. We are especially grateful to our amazing team of volunteers, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes for weeks and then gave their time so generously today. Events like this simply could not happen without you.
And finally, thank you to every single person who came along. Summer on the Mag exists because we believe community matters, and today was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people come together.
We're also grateful to everyone who brought donations for Gorleston Foodbank. Your generosity will make a real difference to local families.
