It isn't too late to join our Alpha course! The third session is tonight in the Chapter House (turn right as you come in through the door).

The Alpha Course is a relaxed and friendly space where you can explore life's big questions, share your thoughts, and hear different perspectives - no pressure, no judgment.

Each session starts with coffee and cake, a short video, and open conversation where everyone's opinion is welcome.

Whether you're new to faith, returning to church, or just curious, Alpha is for you.

Come as you are - you are welcome.
Tuesdays 7pm from 26 May.

Can you spot the pigeon resting in an alcove on the tower? Brings to mind the safe shelter spoken of in Psalm 46:

‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.’

A big thank you this Volunteers Week to so many people who do so much for St Andrew’s Church in so many ways - everyone’s contribution is so valued (in no particular order): our wonderful Church Warden, Vergers, Treasurer, Parish Safeguarding Officer, PCC members (trustees), Parish Clerk, Preachers, Intercessors, Readers, Singers and Musicians, Welcomers, Sound Desk and Livestream Operators, Coffee Team, Flower Arrangers, Cleaners and Polishers, Gardeners, caring for the Memorial Garden, those who open the church during the week so that visitors can come in, those who run Little Stars (toddlers), Open the Book, Life Group, Walking Group, Ladies Club, Board Games Club, social and fundraising events, coffee mornings and those who do the banking. Apologies if anyone has been forgotten… but an enormous thank you.
