It was a great joy to have been invited to a birthday party today. Alice is 107 years old today! We had tea and cake, spoke about her life and faith, and prayed together.

Stewart family news flash!!

I'm delighted and humbled to be able to tell you all that I have been appointed as the next Rector of the Fellside Team in Blackburn Diocese. The team is composed of five parishes that are located to the north east of Preston, they are, St Lawrence Church, Barton. St Hilda’s Church, Bilsborrow. St Eadmer’s church, Bleasdale. St Mary’s church, Goosnargh and St. James church, Whitechapel. I am so looking forward to starting this next chapter of my ministry that will begin late spring/early summer.

I’m also delighted to tell you that Susan starts her new job this week, she is the new Bishops Appointment Secretary for Blackburn Diocese and I know she will do an amazing job.

We have loved our time in St Helens and Liverpool Diocese, and made many great friends who we are going to miss dearly. We have obediently followed Gods call in our lives and the next chapter awaits.

Please do pray for Susan as she starts her new job this week, and also for us all as a family as we prepare to move house in the coming months.
