This is a reminder, and confirmation, that the first of the summer prayer sessions is tomorrow evening at Godalming Minster Brighton Road from 7.30-9.30pm.

Do you find prayer hard, get distracted or wonder if you're doing it right? This first session is exploring individual prayer to encourage anyone who is just starting out in prayer, busy people who find prayer hard to fit in, and, for those of us who sometimes feel a bit stuck, there might be some new suggestions!

Iced drinks will be provided and, as we know, church buildings are naturally resistant all kinds of heating...it is certainly a few degrees cooler than outside.

Everyone's invited. Just turn up!

To reinforce and put into practice our sermon series on Making Prayer our Heartbeat, you're invited to the first of two prayer training evenings - the first of which explores private prayer.Chris Lion and John Valentine will lead the evening, with contributions from others, and time to share your th...

We have a few spaces left on the next Bereavement Journey which is running on Tuesday evenings after Easter, starting 14 April at 7pm. This course of 7 weekly sessions is run by churches nationally, and is highly regarded by practitioners and participants. Could it help you, or someone you know who has been bereaved recently or some time ago? Find out more https://godalmingminster.churchsuite.com/events/laezajmw

A quote from a participant on a local The Bereavement Journey course:

"I signed up for The Bereavement Journey with reservations and anxiety. Deep down, I thought I would only attend the first session - I was wrong. Each week I could not wait for the next meeting. We were able to share our stories with mutual respect for each other. I will be forever grateful for this course."

Would you like some support to process your thoughts and emotions around a bereavement, whether recent, or long ago?

You can see our local courses on our locations map here: https://www.thebereavementjourney.org/locations
